Learn the FAQs about Home Care
Q. How can I trust a stranger in my home?
A. Although most individuals are apprehensive about allowing an unfamiliar person to care for them, assistance from a non family member can be a good thing. However, we do not just send anyone to your home. Each of our caregivers must pass a rigorous process of background screening that far exceeds the state regulatory requirements and is the most comprehensive in the industry. In addition, all in home services, whether skilled or non-skilled, are supervised by registered nurses.
Q. How can you help me?
A. We begin our home care process with a careful assessment of a client’s physical, social, mental and environmental needs. We get to know your interests as well as your medical needs and analyze which home care services work best for you and your loved ones.
Q. I’ve heard independent practitioners are cheaper; is it dangerous to hire one?
A. Yes! For safety and security, each of our caregivers is bonded and insured. Independent practitioners are most likely uninsured, unlicensed and can hold clients responsible for injuries that occur while they are on the job.
