  • Canned milk (only if diluted & used as regular milk)
  • Egg substitute (limit to 1/2 cup/day)
  • Eggnog (store bought)
  • Salted butter & margarine

SOUPS 

  • Bouillon
  • Canned broth
  • Dry Soup mixes
  • Canned soups*

MEATS & MEAT SUBSTITUTES 

  • Canned meats & fish (unrinsed tuna, sardines)
  • Cured meats (dried beef, bacon, corned beef,and salmon)
  • Sausage- all types (pork, beef, chicken, turkey, polish knockwurst hot dogs, etc.)
  • Peanut butter
  • Salted nuts

EVEN REDUCED SODIUM CANNED SOUPS CAN BE QUITEHIGH IN SALT. CHECK THE LABEL! 

SWEETS 

  • Prepared mixes (pudding, pie, cake)
  • Store bought pies, cakes, muffins

COOKING INGREDIENTS & SEASONINGS, CONDIMENTS, SNACKS 

  • Fermented miso
  • Preseasoned mixes for spaghetti, chili, tacos, etc.

  • Tomato sauce (unless unsalted)

  • 1 cup = 8 fluid ounces = 240 cc
  • 4 cups = 32 fluid ounces = 1000 cc = 1 liter
  • 8 cups = 64 fluid ounces = 2000 cc = 2 liters
  • 1 milliliter = 1 cc
  • 1 ounce = 30 cc
